The Lorax

While the guys were working on their project, Debbie and I created some pillows and pictures from Dr. Seuss' Lorax fabric she had brought.  Her newest grandson's bedroom is in that theme with walls painted with the trees, themed bedding fabric, etc.  It's darling!  Here are our end results ...

The front sides of the pillows ...
... and the back sides.

Her daughter wanted these framed so I built
frames, sewed borders, and we loved the end result.

Can you believe this is a cake?  The details the baker added to this masterpiece are unbelievable.

Office is finished!

While it won't show up very well in a picture, the valance for Mark's office is finished.  It looks great against the navy blue walls and blends nicely with the cabinets and Cal pictures.

Camper quilt

My dear friend transformed her vintage 1958 Aljo trailer into the most adorable thing you've ever seen ...

So ... when I received my Keepsake Quilting catalog and there was a quilt with vintage campers AND in the same colors as hers, of course I had to make it.  It was a very fun project despite the hundreds of small pieces and the end result is fabulous.  Most important - she loved it!

Close up of each panel as they have such fun elements.  Should you wish to create this for yourself, visit here.
