First spa day

Sammy had his first spa day and is so handsome!

Magnolia Farms

Mom and I went to Houston for a long weekend to look at some houses the realtor had set up appointments for.  We decided to start our time in Texas off by visiting Magnolia Farms in Waco.  We are huge fans of Chip and Joanna Gaines' show, Fixer Upper, so were excited to see their new store in person.  Sadly the bakery was a couple of weeks from opening but Mom says the sample cupcake was the best she's ever had!  [As far as househunting went, the first house we looked at was perfect but I chose to have Mark come see it before we made an offer.  Bad decision as it was sold days before his arrival in Houston.  Couldn't have been more disappointed.]

Ryan moves to Irvine

After deciding to attend Irvine Valley Community College, he found a studio apartment nearby which is perfect for him.

Our 29th wedding anniversary

You know you've been together a long time when you get each other the same card!  We enjoyed dinner out and a walk on the beach.  We'll enjoy a trip to Jamaica in August.

Sammy had his "boy surgery" Friday but seems to be bouncing back. He's adjusted to the cone but other dogs aren't real keen on playing with him thanks to the cone!

Kelleigh graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School today.  Hard to believe all my kid's are out of high school now.

Chloe drives

Each Friday of the school year, Chloe has "driven" the kids to high school.  First they make their stops at Coffee Bean and Panera before she drops them off at school.  Of course, on cooler mornings, she must wear her pink hoodie.
