Valentine Day treats

It's not everyone who gets a Valentine's treat with their puppy's face on it!  Mark ordered me M&M's with Sammy's face and they are the cutest.  Kelleigh got us each a candy rose and my girlfriend, Jen, gave me a hedgehog plate with cookies and a champagne/chocolate gift.

February

February has arrived and it is a gorgeous day here in San Diego.  As I planted some new pansies, I realized how grateful I am to have the chance to be home, doing what I love whether it's indoors or out, and for fabulous weather like today. Since it's February, it's time for a seasonal table change ...

While Mark will often bring me flowers, it seems that most never open.  This set of roses are definitely among the most gorgeous I've ever received and have fully blossomed.

Christmas 2016

We were fortunate to celebrate the holidays with Grammy, Crystol, her son Jake, Ryan, his GF Shazy, Kelleigh, Mark and I.  Sadly Connor wasn't able to come home so we will see him at the end of his class in early February.  We enjoyed a great dinner together on Christmas Eve and opened gifts leaving Christmas Day for relaxing.

While Jake was here, Mark took him to visit Gold's Gym in Venice Beach where "fitness started"!  On the 27th, Mark, Jake, Ryan and Shazy went to the Ducks vs. Sharks hockey game at The Pond as another of their Christmas gifts.

July 4th

This year Kelleigh insisted we all have flag swimsuits and we succeeded.  I'll spare you the picture of the older folks and share Kell and her boyfriend, Darius.
