"Lawn Fawn" card class

My dear friend, Jen, signed us up for a class at one of our favorite craft stores to make cards with some of the new Lawn Fawn products ... truly one of the greatest stamp/die lines available.  We made sure to arrive early enough to allow ourselves time to shop and then she surprised me with a gift card too!  She's quite the brat!  Below are four of the five cards we made - the fifth card wouldn't stay open for me to photograph as the inside was a pop-up.  Needless to say, we left very inspired as neither of us has done much paper crafting in the last few months.  With new toys comes new inspiration ...

I showed Mark a picture of a great glue gun and stick holder and asked if he would make Jen and I each one.  Here is the finished result ... I love it!

The Lorax

While the guys were working on their project, Debbie and I created some pillows and pictures from Dr. Seuss' Lorax fabric she had brought.  Her newest grandson's bedroom is in that theme with walls painted with the trees, themed bedding fabric, etc.  It's darling!  Here are our end results ...

Her daughter wanted these framed so I built
frames, sewed borders, and we loved the end result.

Remembering ... sunrise service as a child at the church below with my dad ... getting to wear new white shoes for the first time of the season ... new dress with hats and gloves ... such special memories.

Fun with Heidi

We had a great time at Heidi Swapp's workshop last night and came home with lots of goodies.  The venue was decorated gorgeous and the hosts, Queen Bee Market, had tremendous sponsor support for the event.  I was fortunate to win three raffles with my favorite being "the Cinch".
